What this is
You get the photographs, the facts, and a neighbourhood — city and ZIP. You do not get the street address, and you do not get the price until you commit. Then you find out how badly you read the market, and you are told about it.
How scoring works
Every guess is measured by how far off it is proportionally, not in dollars. Formally, the error is the absolute natural log of guess ÷ actual, and points fall off exponentially from there, topping out at 5,000 per house.
The reason is fairness. Being 2× off on a $90k duplex and 2× off on a $40M ski lodge are the same misjudgement, so they score the same. If points were dollar-based, one Aspen round would be worth four hundred Cleveland rounds and the leaderboard would just rank who got shown expensive houses.
Guesses within 2% count as exact. In Endless, anything outside 25% ends the run.

Where the data comes from
The pool is 3742 real homes across 54 US markets, and every one of them is an active listing. The number you are guessing is the asking price — what the seller wants today, not what a closing statement eventually said. The chip on the facts panel says so on every round.
Almost all of it is ingested from Weichert, Realtors® — the listing details and the MLS photography both, served from their own CDN. A smaller bundled snapshot ships with the repository so a fresh clone is playable before anything has been fetched. Each listing carries the attribution its source requires, and that string is shown on the reveal card alongside a link to the real listing.
There is no aerial or satellite view. One was built from free map tiles, played, and removed — technically informative, genuinely dull, and it made every round look the same. Photographs and facts are the whole of what you get.
Prices are never invented and never rounded to make a round easier. The pool can be grown by ingesting more listings; that pipeline, what it can and cannot do, and the licensing responsibility involved are documented in the repository rather than glossed over here.
Do I need an account?
No. Landing here already made you a player — an anonymous id in a signed cookie, and that is the whole account. You can claim a handle later if you want your name on the board, but nothing is ever gated behind a signup. What that cookie holds, and how to get rid of it, is spelled out in the privacy policy.
